Synopsis
People gather for dinner at a woodland house. All ordinary and banal, except, repeatedly, the meal never happens. Something always interferes. Buñuel drags his characters through an escalating series of crises and surrealist set pieces, tethered loosely to reality and designed solely to prevent them politely sitting down to eat. Things it turns out are neither discreet nor charming!
