Synopsis
Kino Koło Notts are working in partnerhip with Southwell Town Council to bring the best of Czech new wave to town. This family friendly screening with English subtiites aims to inspire new inteterst in Czech culture, and celebrate Southwell's links with its twin town in Český Brod
A travelling circus and its magical feline mascot arrive in a provincial Czech town, unleashing mayhem as they expose the virtues, vices and desires of its unruly inhabitants.
The Cassandra Cat is presented as part of our On the Road programme, made possible with support from Film Hub Midlands through funds from the National Lottery. Film Hub Midlands support people to watch, show, and make films in the Midlands.
