Synopsis
On the hottest day of the year Mookie (Spike Lee,) delivers Sal’s Famous. As temperatures soar the ties that bind melt under the intense heat of race, sex, obligation, duty, and unrealistic expectations.
Featuring a thumping soundtrack and stellar cast, including Danny Aiello, Rosie Perez, Giancarlo Esposito, John Turturro, Bill Nunn, Ruby Dee & Ossie Davies, Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing remains a towering tour de force, and is as urgent and necessary today, as it was upon its initial release some 37 years ago (makes you feel old innit?)
