Synopsis
A musical comedy set in the cutthroat world of the music industry, Power Ballad centres on the bitter rivalry between two vastly different musicians warring over the rights to a single song. The story follows a down-and-out, struggling musician whose hard work is suddenly taken from him by a flashy pop star. Directed by John Carney, the film is a comedic exploration of artistic integrity, fame, and the lengths people will go to claim a hit track as their own.
