Synopsis
Come and join us at Partisan Cinema for our inaugural screening of Cure, just in time for Halloween.
Cited by South Korean film director Bong Joon-ho as one film as one of the greatest of all time, and an influence on his own Memories of Murder, Cure is Japanese neo-noir psychological horror film written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. The story follows a detective investigating a string of gruesome murders where an X is carved into the neck of each victim. Dazed, the murderer is found each time near the victim with a full memory of the crime, but no idea why they did it.
