Synopsis
A dramatization of the life story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the physicist who lead the development of the atomic bomb during the second World War. In typical Nolan style, we see his life alternate from being a young scientist, lonely, unhappy and electrified by the new developments in quantum mechanics, through to the 1950s, as a disillusioned, compromised administrator, hounded by the McCarthyites for his communist connections.
Winner of 7 Academy Awards, for best picture, lead and supporting actor, director, screenplay, cinematography and music.
