Synopsis
Fern drifts through a van-based life after losing her home, not as an act of freedom but as a kind of steady survival. This film is about atmosphere; letting seasonal jobs, fleeting connections, and vast landscapes build a portrait of people living on the margins of a system that’s moved on without them. This life isn’t romanticised or pitied, Fern’s gentle resistance to settling down turns the film into a meditation on grief, independence, and the uneasy cost of belonging versus staying untethered.
