Mississippi Burning (18)

Synopsis

To mark the passing of Gene Hackman this year, we revive one of the great films of his middle period, in which two FBI agents investigate the deaths of three Civil Rights activists in 1964 Mississippi. Events have been partly fictionalized, which led to some controversy, and it is a film certain to provoke a response one way or another. 128 minutes.
