Based on the 2021 novel Le Roman de Jim by Pedric Bailey, this film on modern fatherhood was directed by the Larrieu brothers. The story unfolds between Lyon and Sain Claude, a small town in Jura, where Aymeric meets ex-colleague Florence, who is unmarried, 6 months pregnant, and the father is married and gone. He moves in, and brings up the child Jim for 7 years, until the biological father reappears, and paternal tensions ensue.
