Synopsis
It is 2021. 26 stolen artefacts are on their journey from Paris back to Benin. But the country they left was not Benin, but the Kingdom of Dahomey, and a new generation awaits. How would they receive them after all this time?
Blend of fact and fiction, this docufiction explores the response of the Beninese to the returned treasures, and the response of the exiled wooden kings to their new native land.
