Synopsis
In this classic 1960s suspense caper, Regina Lampert (Audrey Hepburn) returns to Paris to find her husband murdered and their fortune missing, only to discover he had stolen $250,000 from the U.S. government during WWII. Targeted by his vengeful former accomplices who believe she has the money, Regina seeks protection from a charming but elusive stranger (Cary Grant) whose identity and motives shift by the hour. As the body count rises across the city, the mystery culminates in a race to find the hidden loot, leading to the revelation that the fortune has been hiding in plain sight as a set of rare stamps on a mundane envelope.
