The Club was founded in 2010 by Dornoch and District Community Association (DADCA) as the Dornoch Sociable Cinema and has been running since then with a break during the Covid pandemic. The mission originally was to support our parent body DADCA, to bring the community together through the shared experience of watching films, fostering a love for cinema, and supporting the arts in our region.

About Us – Dornoch Cinema Club is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to showcasing a diverse range of films, from classic masterpieces to contemporary hits, independent films, and foreign language cinema. We believe in the power of movies to entertain, educate, and inspire.

Our History – Since its inception, the Club has grown in membership and scope, providing a platform for film enthusiasts to enjoy and discuss their favourite movies. Our screenings are held in the Dornoch Social Club, creating a unique and intimate viewing experience.
