Tullynessle Hall Film Club

  • Description

(Previously known as 'Craigievar Film Club @ Tullynessle Hall')

Our film club is a non-profit making organisation set up with funding from the UK Film Council and is a member of Cinema-for-all and Film Hub Scotland. We exist to promote a wide range of films including mainstream fare, independent and foreign titles, and short/documentary films. Films are shown on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm (doors open at 7:15pm). Bring your own bottle/refreshments. Non-member Admission for the 2023/24 season will continue to be £5 on the night.

Following the improvements with the new projector obtained through the BFI Neighbourhood Cinema Equipment Fund, our host venue has supported the permanent installation of the Film Club equipment. This involved ceiling-mounting the projector, wall mounting the speakers and upgrading the amplifier. It also included the integration of the equipment with an existing hearing loop and PA system. This has all led to a much easier set up and enhanced presentations enjoyed by both the Film Club and the Community Film Nights presented on behalf of the Hall.

Refreshments are available at both Film Club and Community Film presentations, but you are welcome to BYOB
