Instituto Cervantes Manchester organises a film club dedicated to the filmmaker Luis Buñuel. A space that hosts film productions related to the Hispanic language and culture, which has become a reference for Spanish-language cinema in Manchester. Since autumn 2017, the club has been developing regular programmes with different themes and narratives dedicated to both established directors and emerging filmmakers who come to demonstrate the creativity in Spanish of a fundamental cultural industry in the 21st century.
