    Film at the Folk is the latest exciting venture at The Folk Hall that has developed out of the New Earswick Less Loneliness Initiative.

    Our aim is to show a wide variety of films - classic, contemporary, family, adventure and foreign language  - to meet the interests of the local community and neighbourhoods in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our prices are very reasonable - £8:00 Family (2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children under 12) £4:00 Adult, £2:00 child - in recognition of how expensive it can be to have a night out, especially with a family.

    WE have recently introduced our MEMBERSHIP SCHEME, for just £5:00 per year you will get an £1 reduction on an adult ticket and 50p from a child's. You will also be invited to a free members evening and can help choose films for forthcoming seasons.

    Cinemagoers can look forward to casual seating giving  the opportunity to chat over a drink from the bar and enjoy refreshments expected from a more traditional venue.
