The village hall committee shows films every month in our little village hall. We have a good projector and sound system and comfortable chairs. We work in association with Moviola who provide a selection of good films for us to choose from. We draw our audience from the village and surrounding area and we choose films that appeal to a slightly older audience, essentially for people who might not want to go to a big multiplex. We also show some films for children on occasion.

We have been showing films for several years now, mainly as a service to the community but also to raise funds to keep the hall going. Because it is a relatively small community the events are something of a social occasion since many people know each other. However we also try and make it welcoming to people from further afield. At all events we run a light refreshment service and a fully licensed bar.
