Description
Beacon Young Film Programmers is an informal group of young people aged 16-30 with a passion for cinema. The group was set up in March 2021 and were mentored in all aspects of film programming and putting on film events by Flatpack Film Festival and kinokulture cinema.
In August 2021 the group hosted a week long takeover of the screen at kinokulture cinema in Oswestry for the Beacon Film Festival.
We are now planning a series of five monthly Young film Programmers Nights at kinokulture cinema starting on 30th November 2021.
Our screenings take place at kinokulture an independent cinema in the Shropshire market town of Oswestry.
