The Flicks Hut

The Flicks Hut is an independent pop-up community cinema run by Our Social Space, a Belfast charity focused on improving social health through creativity and connection. We programme independent and classic films that explore pressing social issues - from poverty and mental health to gender, race, and identity - and host relaxed, discussion-based screenings in a welcoming, informal setting. Our events include themed seasons like Rooted in Rhythm, celebrating 100 years of community storytelling, as well as regular “Saturday Nights In – Our Speakeasy” movie nights. By combining film, conversation, and community, The Flicks Hut brings people together to connect, reflect, and belong.
