The Flicks Hut

The Flicks Hut is an independent community cinema run by Our Social Space, a Belfast charity dedicated to building social health through creativity, conversation, and connection.

We programme independent, classic, and culturally significant films that explore identity, heritage, music, community, and the social issues that shape our lives. Screenings take place in a relaxed, informal setting where discussion is welcomed and no one feels out of place.

From themed seasons like Rooted in Rhythm to our regular “Saturday Nights In – Our Speakeasy” movie nights, The Flicks Hut blends film, storytelling, and shared space to create evenings where people can connect, reflect, and belong.
