Thamesmead Travelling Cinema

The Thamesmead Texas Travelling Cinema is a 25-seater mobile outdoor community cinema made for the people of Thamesmead! We launched in Spring 2021 and host seasonal screenings co-programmed for, by and with local residents from Thamesmead. In Autumn 2021, we travel around the world for a season of ‘World Cinema’ showcasing independent artist films and mainstream classics from countries afar as Nigeria, India, Jamacia and Cape Verde.
