Sinema Llangoed

'Sinema Llangoed', Anglesey's own community cinema is volunteer-run film programme at Llangoed Village Hall. Our monthly film club screenings are a mix of independent releases, Welsh-language films, historic classics, documentaries and special interest films. We also collaborate with local organisations and film-makers, hosting galas, educational evenings, documentaries and moving-image projects.

Join us for ‘Fire of Love’ a poetic and mesmerising documentary that chronicles the passionate lives of volcanologists Katia and Maurice Krafft as they risk everything—life, love, and limb—in pursuit of the world's most dangerous eruptions.

A double feature with ‘Void Fraction - Archiving Conjecture’ a short film reimagining geological archives by linking a quarry in Wales with the Geological Society’s library through a collection of limestone “bookstones” and an alternate card catalogue.
