Shipton Community Centre has been recently modernized to a high standard with lottery funding. It has an ample carpark and children’s playground adjacent. It is very popular for evening functions.

The cinema group have booked 12 Friday evenings for 2018 and 2019. We aim to show a programme of films for the village and friends. The room layout is 'Cafe Style' We serve Tea & Coffee and YORVALE Ice creams served from a classic usherette's tray. We have a 'bring your own' drinks policy. An informal, friendly and welcoming ambiance is waiting for you to join in. Behind the scenes our volunteers work hard with the equipment taking care with the sound and image quality – we aim to improve each month as funds allow.
