Synopsis
Join Reel Cult for their first every screening, a rare presentation of Elaine May's caustic and hilarious masterpiece, The Heartbreak Kid.
Three days into his Miami honeymoon with the well meaning but oblivious Lila (an incredible Jeannie Berlin), Lenny meets the woman of his dreams, Kelly. This confirms his fear that he may have made a serious mistake and he decides he wants to be with Kelly instead. Elaine May injects her acidic sense of humour and razor-sharp observations on masculinity and generational malaise into what is arguably Neil Simon's greatest screenplay, in this criminally under seen classic of American comedy.
