Pitshanger Pictures
Pitshanger Pictures exists to inform, entertain and strengthen community in North Ealing by screening films that stimulate conversation and discussion on questions in life. The initiative came from a private viewing at Soho House Cinema of the film "Skin" starring Sophie Okenodo. I and my wife felt that because there was no cinema in Ealing (despite it being the home of the worlds oldest working film studios) we would create a community cinema in our local Community Hall. I funded the installation of all the equipment and St Barnabas PCC provide the room for free. All profits, if there are any, go to St Barnabas PCC. The film schedule is eclectic and aims to cover a broad spectrum of genres, ages and film classification.
