Open Film Society
Films are screened in the Berrill Theatre, Open University campus, Milton Keynes. The OFS shows about thirty films from around the world each season, which runs from Autumn through to Spring. All films are chosen on merit from suggestions by the Society’s members. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16.

James McArdle plays Edward, a first-time author hoping to undertake a book tour in the USA, but needing to look after his elderly, infirm mother (Fionnula Flanagan) in Ireland. His indecision ends when three friends all depart for a Pride festival in Spain, but not before delivering their elderly and eccentric mothers for Edward to look after while they are away! Much amusement and self-discovery ensue for all concerned.
