Masham Town Hall

Masham Town Hall is a community building and venue, hosting a wide variety of community, artistic, educational, sporting and social events by and for the people of Masham and the surrounding area. The 101-year-old building has been refurbished and redecorated recently, and has hosted successful film nights since 2012, supported by Cine North. We offer a wide range of contemporary, classic and world films, with around 20 showings a year, including popular and informal Saturday family matinées. In a town with many people who are ageing and/or not possessing a car, "Movies in Masham" brings quality films to people who would otherwise not be able to access them. The friendly atmosphere and interval conversation makes each film a social as well as cultural occasion.

Thanks to support from Harrogate Borough Council, we are able to host the first Masham Movie Festival from February to May 2015, wityh an expanded programme of modern, classic and local films for all audiences alongside special events.
