Frome Film Club
Frome Film Club was launched in 2011 as a way of bringing a more diverse range of films to a wider audience in Frome, and to increase interest in and turnout for films at the Merlin Theatre. The club is run by a small group of volunteers, with stewarding provided by the theatre.
The films on the programme are generally picked from recent releases, and our aim is to show films that have not been shown locally or had wide exposure nationally. Two committee members select the films from a long list that they have watched throughout the year, via festivals, screenings, and trips to cinemas outside Frome.
