Dulverton Films

In the 1940s Dulverton Town Hall provided twice weekly film shows. When 6,000 American troops arrived in the area, they ensured this continued by building a Projection Box; however film shows fell into decline after WWII. In the summer of 2010, Dulverton Films was set up to re-instate regular film shows. We show both specialised (contemporary, foreign language, documentary, classic, British, International) and mainstream films upstairs in the Town Hall, which can seat 120.

There is a licensed bar, open for 30 minutes before the show begins. We have a 16 x 10 foot screen, High Definition digital projection from the Projection box, and recently updated full 7.1 surround sound. There are two shows each month, usually on the first and last Friday. All are welcome: Dulverton Films Members receive a discount on admissions. Our season runs from September to August.
