A NEW COMMUNITY CINEMA WITH A DIFFERENCE

Blackfriars Ouseburn Cinema (The BOC) is a not-for-profit, pop-up community interest cinema with regular screenings at Blackfriars @ The Ouseburn; a Community Centre run by the St Vincent de Paul Society, opposite the Tanners Arms on Byker Bridge.

We pride ourselves on being a little different to most cinemas; offering a unique way to experience film. With a dimly-lit ‘cabaret’ style set-up and table service during screenings.

We screen in a large beautiful hall with full wheelchair access and a wonderful bar that provides a full range of hot and cold drinks, ice-cream and freshly-made popcorn!
